Inventory, Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Looking for responsible team player to maintain product inventory, computer entry, records filing, faxing documents, measuring (weighing) products, General typing, Copying documents, Postal Service addressing (by hand), Telephone answering, and make product displays. Seeking individual eager for long-term employment. Full time positions available June 1st 2002. Computer experience preferred, Education: Minimum High school diploma. Data entry experience a plus, United Parcel Service (UPS) shipping experience a plus, Excellent handwriting skills and spelling proficiency skills a must, Exceptional telephone personality a plus, Ability to learn detailed product information and pricing from company internet web site, computer familiarity a plus and strongly consider applicants with Internet usage and experience, Basic computer skills include Microsoft Word, Internet Explorer, Outlook E-Mail, office machine skills including; use of facsimile (fax), copy machine, postal scales, adding machine, time clock, telephones, and printers. This position leads to advancement in the organization.

Duties include but may not be limited to:

  • Enter Customer data in DHL computer database, enter inventory
  • in computer database, enter customer fax number in database, and other computer entry as necessary.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and route to correct department.
  • Be able to write up customer orders as necessary
  • Place telephone calls to customers and future customers to correct our fax and telephone information.
  • Prepare and send product samples, letters, product displays and other company information as directed.
  • Inspect and Review customer card layouts and finished products before shipping.
  • Direct any caller to know about the company web sites.
  • Receive and ship material and product deliveries and record and check-in all incoming material against purchase documents.
  • Be prepared to learn and conduct Quality standards checks at various locations of the company.
  • Be able to lift up to 70# on to a shelf at eye level.

Hours 7:30 AM -4:30 PM (1 hour lunch). M-F, No Sunday Some ½ day Wednesday

Number positions (1), No part time available. Location: Payson, NEW downtown office location

Starting salary with no experience entry-level minimum wage: ($5.45)

Salary range for inventory clerk position with related experience ($6-$9)

Benefits: None at this time, No paid holidays, No sick leave, No paid vacation, No medical Insurance.

Payday schedule: bi-weekly, Fridays 1 week in arrears
